Trogir Holidays

Trogir is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located on a tiny island in the centre of Dalmatia, Croatia. It is connected by small bridges to the island of Ciovo and the mainland. Compared to some of the larger tourist spots, Trogir is a romantic, hidden gem. 2,300 years of history are still on full display within the town that is surrounded by medieval walls. Romanesque, Venetian and Baroque influences are still present earning the city’s nickname, “Stone Beauty”.

The large promenade is lined with quaint bars, cafes and yachts and the atmosphere is peaceful and calm. There are plenty of beaches, one of the more popular being Medena Beach, 4km west of the old town. Some of the main attractions we recommend you visit in Trogir include the Fortress Kamerlengo, Radovan's Portal, St. Lawrence Cathedral, Fortress of St. Marc and Trogir Harbour.

Day trips to Split are very popular where you can explore the Diocletian Palace, Peristyle Square and the Cathedral of St Duje and enjoy the local market produce and goods.

The average temperature throughout the year in Trogir is above 15°C, reaching more than 30°C during peak summer months. The area doesn’t get overcrowded and is perfect for family holidays, couples and over 50’s holidays.
