Faliraki boasts one of the best sandy beaches on the island. This beach is a 4km stretch of sand, with a top selection of water sports, including jet skis, rings and water-skiing. It also has blue flag status. Faliraki is especially renowned for its lively nightlife scene, with many great bars, discos, restaurants and various shops in the town centre.
Faliraki is also home to the largest water park in Greece and a funfair, so there is plenty here for families as well. The fishing harbour of St Apostolos is also a great spot to check out. Here you can hop on day cruises that go directly to Rhodes Town, Lindos, and other beach areas.
Only 13 km from the ever-popular Rhodes town, Faliraki is a great destination for its upbeat atmosphere, an excellent distance for day-trips, and expansive, sunny beach.
