If you’re looking to completely unwind, Kamari is the place for you. Located southeast of Fira, Kamari is on the flat side of the island making it an ideal beach resort.

With a promenade filled with restaurants, cafes and bars running the length of the bay, Kamari instantly has that familiar beach resort feel. Its blue flag beach, sheltered by Mesa Vouno, is the focal point of the resort with its unique black sand and crystal clear waters.

• Cinema: Kamari is home to the island’s only cinemas and one of the best open-air cinemas in the world - Cinekamari. Cinekamari shows films in English every evening from May to October in a lush green surrounding.
